What's new: Easier communication and faster invitations |

With the latest release, it's easier to communicate, invite others quickly, and track your activities, actions, and agendas. You can now tag - and follow - comments everywhere in SAP StreamWork. To invite lots of colleagues to SAP StreamWork all at once, just import a list from Outlook or Gmail. If an activity is focused on a decision or goal, you can now add a due date to the entire activity. Keep better tabs on action items by viewing a full list of action items you've assigned to others, and manage live meetings better by setting agenda schedules more accurately.

SAP StreamWork brings collaboration to humanitarian organization |

Direct Relief International is a humanitarian aid organization that provides medical assistance to people affected by poverty, disaster, and civil unrest. Already using SAP software to track all items from its warehouses to their final destinations, it was looking for a solution to help focus and accelerate team projects distributed across states and countries. It had found another, more general collaboration solution useful as a portal or intranet, but needed something more to help drive projects forward.
"SAP StreamWork was much simpler, with a lot of tools built into it to drive decision-making," says the IT director at Direct Relief. "When I have a meeting with stakeholders, I can pop into SAP StreamWork and illustrate where we are on a project. It offers a simple way to tell a story, and it helps our communication with stakeholders."

Do you have a long list of colleagues in an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Gmail that you'd like to invite to SAP StreamWork? It's now much faster to invite them all at once - without entering each email address by hand. If some of them already happen to be using SAP StreamWork, you'll be able to start following them right away instead of sending an invitation. And just in case you spot a few people on your list that you don't in fact want to invite, you'll have the option of removing their names before sending the invitations.
